Program Facilitator

Find your purpose and share your passion by helping patients at the St. Cloud Hospital as a Program Facilitator!  You'll be responsible for increasing patient awareness and abilities in the area of living skills and recreation activities by providing education and information on an individual or group basis.  As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of therapeutic programming (education and/or activities) to patients ranging in age from 5 years through adult with mental health and/or chemical dependency issues. 

Schedule (part time and casual positions currently open)

Part-time | 16 hours every two weeks  7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  Every other Saturday and Sunday St. Cloud Hospital | Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit

 

Casual | St. Cloud Hospital | Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit Will include hours of 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. | weekdays and weekends Must submit 16 hours of availability per 4-week schedule & pick up one shift per 120 calendar days
 

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $19.42 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range:  $19.42 - $29.14 per hour Benefits available: casual PTO plan, wellness reward points, 401(k), employee assistance plan, and employee discounts!


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a human services field or Minimum of five years of related experience assisting in running groups, program and material design required or Associate of Arts degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant curriculum and successful completion of clinical field work.  If a graduate from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program; then National Certification through NBCOT as a COTA and through the State of MN as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) is required. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) initial and on-going training required and provided. Entry level skills and knowledge in the provision of therapeutic education and activities. Knowledge of medical and psychiatric diagnosis and the associated symptoms. Ability to teach a variety of education and creative activities.
