Program Leader, CommOps
**About the Role** We are seeking a Program Leader to oversee the JPN and South Korea Safety Support team. This role requires close collaboration with the regional and central safety support team to successfully implement key projects in Japan for all lines of business Reporting to the Director of Cross-Platform Services (XPS) in APAC, you will work closely with JPN and SK stakeholders, including Safety Operations, Business Operations, Regulatory and Legal partners, as well as global counterparts in GSIRP. Your primary goal will be to deliver a best-in-class safety and regulatory support experience. As the Program Owner for JPN and SK Safety Support, you will define success metrics for delivery partners across COEs and BPOs, driving process standardization and product improvements in collaboration with Safety Operations and GSIRP teammates. This role is strategic, programmatic, and delivery-driven, focused on setting high standards for safety and regulatory compliance. Additionally, it will play a key role in ensuring process alignment for global safety initiatives and product rollouts. **Your Impact In Role** **Strategic Leadership:** 1. Define and implement a comprehensive safety support strategy across all lines of business in JPN. 2. Lead strategic discussions to enhance safety support policies and ensure regulatory compliance. 3. Advocate for JPN needs by collaborating with regional and global partners to align products and processes for the language complexity and market requirements **Leadership and Influence:** 1. Inspire and influence a high-performing team, fostering collaboration with stakeholders and support partners to achieve goals. 2. Represent the safety support team to JPN leadership across CommOps and Business functions. 3. Drive readiness for the launch of new features and products while maintaining preparedness for safety requirements. **Operational Excellence:** 1. Drive the successful execution and optimization of JPN safety support programs and initiatives. 2. Continuously improve risk management processes across all areas of the business. **Stakeholder Management & Communication:** 1. Partner with senior business leaders to highlight critical safety and regulatory risks and advocate for necessary prioritization and resources. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Operations, Safety Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Product, Policy, and Communications—to address incidents and regulatory concerns effectively. 3. Simplify complex issues into compelling narratives to influence high-level decision-making and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders. **Talent Development:** 1. Cultivate and develop team members, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence. 2. Drive impact through influence and elevating performance of support partners in COE and BPO **The Experience You'll Bring** 1. Proven track record in safety support strategy development, operations leadership, or a related field 2. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments 3. Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and aligning diverse teams 4. Experience in talent development and performance management, with a focus on building resilient and scalable teams 5. Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to navigate competing pressures 6. An inclusive leader with strong skills in mentoring and team development 7. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, unstructured environment **Preferred Qualifications** 1. Working knowledge / basic Japanese language skills are preferred, strong English proficiency as required in working with global teams 2. Self-motivated with a strong affinity for problem-solving 3. Demonstrated success in using data to make customer-focused decisions and to facilitate behavior change in support organizations 4.
