Summary
The Program Leader collaboratively leads the development, management, and implementation of interdisciplinary, multi-specialty Programs to meet the vision, mission, and strategic plans for Moffitt Cancer Center, encompassing both clinical care and research.
The Program Leader leads the delivery of care across the Program's care team (surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists and supporting medical staff) and coordinates multidisciplinary clinical research efforts in collaboration with the MRI. This individual oversees the development of pathways as clinical Standards of Care.
Working with hospital/clinic leadership team members and MMG Department Chairs, the Program Leader ensures that providers and medical staff optimally function within a team-based care system, offering all team members the opportunity to work at top of license. The Program Leader collaborates with hospital/clinic leadership teams to implement policies designed to optimize the patient experience and clinical services. This individual provides supervision and leadership to APPs, physicians, and medical staff as it pertains to the program operations. The Program Leader works in conjunction with the Department Chair, Department Administrator, Faculty, APPs, Clinic Operations Manager, and other leaders to successfully achieve responsibilities.

Education/Licensure:
MD or Equivalent Board certified (or eligible) in approved specialty Florida Medical License DEA License ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff
