Start Date: Spring 2025

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00 (Undergraduate Student) $26.50 (Graduate Student)

Summary:

The Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking a talented and motivated intern with exceptional communication skills to partner with internal stakeholders. The intern will help improve the PMO’s Product OS release program and establish a more effective change control and compliance tracking process for various key strategic initiatives across the organization. Your skills and passion can make a significant impact!

What you will do:

Partner with team members to track and update release statusFollow up on the release progress and bring the releases on trackWork with teams to identify and track release risks to closureIdentify and alert Leadership on release risksAssist in the development, maintenance, and communication of release and deployment plans using SharePointHelp coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutesParticipate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to release discussionsGather the quality reports in a centralized locationAssist in development, maintenance, and communication of the weekly Release summaryGather release metricsPerform other duties as assigned by the Release Ops Director or supervisor

What we are looking for:

Applicant must be local to the Dallas areaCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM or business fieldStrong writing skillsAn inquisitive mind with the ability to think outside the boxAbility to work independently with minimal guidanceExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsBasic understand of Agile conceptsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio)Basic understanding of the SDLC conceptsMust be good in Project management concepts - Risk Management, Communication, Planning and coordination, Stakeholder managementStrong organizational skills with a systematic approach to problem-solvingNice to have PMP certification, and/or Agile certifications
