Amazon Global Selling (AGS) is enabling global customers get access to millions of new products from Marketplace Selling Partners at cheaper and faster shipping rates. It is a high-visibility initiative that is helping Amazon march towards its vision of enabling Customers around the globe to have access to the best selection at the best price.
As we scale up this business, we want to create an Operations structure to ensure that Selling Partners are well supported to meet Amazon standards so we deliver best in class delivery experience to our customers. Working in a dynamic sales environment, the person will be responsible for strategic and operational aspects of program(s) that can help sellers build their e-commerce business on Amazon. You will be expected to build program(s) that would deliver both organic and new business growth to Amazon’s marketplaces making the role entrepreneurial in nature. This person will work to resolve both short-term operations issues as well as contribute to the long-term vision of the program.

You must enjoy and have a desire to mentor, coach, and develop employees. As a program leader, you must be capable of crafting a big-picture vision and garnering support from partner organizations and global teams, to bring it to fruition.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and close operational gaps in new offerings and set operational requirements for new projects.
- Identify key business relationships and build a partnership for understanding challenges and opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional projects across multiple geographies working with senior business leaders on major initiatives.
- Dive deep in all areas across the program; this role is both strategic and hands-on.
- Consult and coach partners to grow and achieve improved results on Amazon.
- Drive adoption of services & step-function improvement in Seller Experience.
- Drive marketing and communication strategy of the program, as well as track and monitor performance.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations.
- Several years of experience in logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain operations.
- A passion for developing best in class customer delivery experience.
- Strong bias for action, with willingness to roll up sleeves and get things done.
- Experience of working in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction required.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
- Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations.
- SQL knowledge and experience in Tableau. Experience with Amazon Transportation, Supply Chain, Operations or Procurement. Experience with lean process, kaizen, six sigma, and process improvement.
- Strong structured thinking and problem-solving ability with ability to convert strategy to action.
- Demonstrated experience in performing complex data analysis.
