Program Manager, Amazon Logistics, DSP Planning
Description Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Peak Captain The goal of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is to build a world-class last mile delivery operation. We aim to exceed customer expectations by ensuring orders are delivered with speed, accuracy, and cost effectiveness. As Peak Captain, you will be responsible for managing critical high-volume periods including Prime Day and Peak season. This strategic role requires cross-functional coordination and deep understanding of end-to-end business operations to ensure alignment between central teams, country operations, and external organizations. Key Responsibilities: - Peak/Prime Day Country Readiness Leadership. - Serve as the primary Program Manager for Peak and Prime Day preparations. - Own and drive internal readiness meetings and documentation. - Develop and maintain operational playbooks. - Create and manage tracking systems. - Lead Peak/Prime performance reporting and analytics. - Act as the main point of contact for all Peak/Prime related initiatives. - Cross-Functional Planning & Coordination. Drive alignment between local operations, S&OP teams, and central functions: - Coordinate capacity planning, volume forecasting, and resource allocation. - Manage station readiness and network optimization. - Oversee long-lead time projects including infrastructure and equipment procurement Facilitate communication between multiple stakeholders. - Program Implementation & Stakeholder Management. Lead the implementation of EU-wide tools, guidelines, and reporting systems: - Manage critical operations projects from conception to completion. - Serve as primary country point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with regional and global standards. More Information ・Department: Last Mile (https://www.amazon.co.jp/b?node=5637343051) ・Job: Program / Project Management (https://www.amazon.co.jp/b?node=5609904051) ・Location: Tokyo Office (https://www.amazon.co.jp/b?node=5589794051) Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 2+ years of program or project management experience - 2+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Preferred Qualifications - 2+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
