Program Manager, AMXL Network Planning, JP AMZL Network Planning & Expansion
Amazon is handling hundreds millions of products in Japan. Items from various sellers are collected at Fulfillment Centers (FC) and then shipped to our individual customers via Delivery Stations (DS), located in various locations across Japan. The last part of our delivery system is managed by Amazon Logistics (AMZL). AMZL is currently focusing on increasing the number of DS and expanding our network in Japan so that we can reach a larger number of customers with better speed, quality and cost.

The Program Manager for AMXL (Amazon Extra Large) is responsible for the end to end Last Mile Delivery Station launch process and its execution for heavy & bulky items like furniture and large home appliances, in order to expand and optimize the network with better quality, speed and cost structure.

Key job responsibilities
1) Launch Planning
- Validate potential locations and select the best ones by working closely with relevant stakeholders
- Support finance study to justify the launch

2) Short-term planning
- Finalize delivery area and volume for the station at the time of launch
- Be an expert in using tools for topology planning

3) Launch execution management
- Identify necessary actions/POCs and track the progress
- Manage/support stakeholders
