Position Summary
The Program Manager supports several Program Managers in all aspects of managing global development programs. They support the Program Manager in providing clients with a Program Management service assisting in the design, conduct and coordination of multidisciplinary, integrated programs, involving pre-clinical and clinical studies and/or the management of client portfolios, at all Labcorp locations, including other Labcorp Business Units and third-party vendors. The Program Manager can expect to have significant interactions with clients by email, phone, and face to face and should build a relationship based on mutual understanding and respect. Under the guidance of a Sr. Program Manager, the Program Manager may work on programs or client portfolios but will routinely be assigned to scoped work with either an Alliance Manager or Director of Drug Development & Regulatory Strategy (DD&RS) or a CPC Regulatory Program Director. Additional responsibilities may include providing an expert Regulatory Project Management service for both stand-alone regulatory projects as well as regulatory activities integrated into a wider nonclinical program of work.
Candidates given consideration will have the following qualifications:
5 years relevant experience within a science related environment; CRO experience preferred
1-2 years’ experience in project management
Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on client needs
Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
Sound scientific knowledge in a relevant field
Thorough knowledge of drug development process and client needs
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent planning and organization skills
Good computer skills with good working knowledge of a range of computer packages
Ability to understand and work with financial information
Ability to work within a team framework
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a matrix environment
Ability to lead and develop junior staff
Ability to resolve program related problems and prioritizes workload for self and team
Education
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or similar, business or project management required
Project management training or certification is an advantage
Location: This position offers a hybrid working model with site visits as needed to either Greenfield, IN or Madison, WI locations. The candidates considered will reside near one of these locations.
Pay Range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually (USD)
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
