About the role:As a Program Manager, Energoatom Fuel Manufacturing Technology Transfer you will have overall accountability to bring online a state-of-the-art fuel manufacturing facility for Energoatom in Ukraine. From program direction to engineering, procurement and training oversite, plant design, technology decision-making, and eventual turnover to operations, this is a critical role in implementing a large program to achieve corporate goals.
You will report to the Director, CFFF Technical Services and be located at Columbia, SC. You support this position near the Columbia, SC plant with the option to support in a hybrid persona.
Key Responsibilities:Work within Westinghouse’s Global Operations Services guidelines process to ensure that safety and quality are built into the program at each stage
Lead the governance and execution of all workstreams related to the program
Build team capacity to plan and implement the Project. This includes definition and staffing of important project positions to ensure delivery such as leads for engineering, training, procurement, manufacturing Process Design, scheduling, Supply Chain, EHS.
Assure the capital project meets project goals (including safety, quality, cost, schedule, and scope) by managing the development following specifications and standards.
Provide project updates and communicates with clients, contractors, government or regulatory officials, CFFF Site Leader/License Holder and other partners
Analyze and manage risks for the Project. Establish risk profile for the Project and manage mitigation plans, dealing with unexpected outcomes to ensure success
Ensure all permits, licenses or certifications required by regulatory authorities are obtained
Coordinate the execution of the project using applicable company requirements.
Lead assigned activities related to development of plans for projects under development, including Lessons Learned regarding project delivery models
Identify and support efforts towards project optimization and innovation through current industry lessons learned and other comparable plans
Exercise direct control of cost and execution of the Project to include completion of Launch stage gates. Report on cost (including forecasting) and schedule completion. Communicate and resolve technical and commercial issues as related to project goals.
Lead teams to guide projects to ensure integration and agreement on our goals. Participate in and leads development of people, organization, core processes and necessary interfaces to accomplish activities/work scope.
Participate in and leads assigned activities related to project development efforts to support offers in following areas: defining delivery models and execution strategies, defining divisions of responsibility (DOR), development of project schedules and estimating scopes, and developing technical reports.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management or other business relevant area
15+ years of leadership experience in major project delivery or construction management
Experience in new plant / facilities projects from early development through contract signing and project execution
Familiarity with 10CFR, part 50 regulatory requirements
Nuclear / industrial safety and HuP mindset
Excellent facilitation and working with both internal and external resources
Working with customers, partners, and all partners is required.
Experience working and leading in a matrix organization
Experience in executive interface both internally and externally
Use fact-based, structured decision-making process to initiate and support appropriate actions
