This job contributes to Starbucks success by leading Global Business Services Delivery business planning & operations improvement, as well as driving organizational readiness for integration of new client work and services. The role will create and maintain the operational plan, roadmap, and rhythm of the business tools while collaborating with stakeholders and storytelling through metrics & work valuation. In addition, this job will focus on strengthening, standardizing, and governing common service management capabilities through a continuous improvement lens. Change leadership will be a constant across all work in this dynamic, maturing organization. The ideal candidate can think strategically and analytically about business challenges, articulate and communicate clear value propositions across customers and partners, and is comfortable working across internal functions. The candidate will be a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, passionate about identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and anticipate business needs with the ability to make tradeoffs. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. 
 

As a program manager, Global Business Services Delivery, you will… 
 
•    Establish and maintain business services delivery strategy development, rhythm of business, and continuous improvement practices resulting in operational excellence. 
•    Drive cross-functional alignment and engagement around measurable and ambitious goals.
•    Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment to identify and fix business capability gaps and help implement service management best practices.
•    Pull from multiple disciplines to deliver continuous process improvement, value stream mapping facilitation, change management, and project and program management. 
•    Solve problems and proactively identify & mitigate risks.
•    Nimbly adapt to shifting priorities while continuing to assess the overall health of existing programs and priorities.
•    Serve as a thinking partner to colleagues, stakeholders, clients, and sponsors
•    Be a change leader throughout the organization 

We’d love to hear from people with: 
•    Progressive application of industry-based continuous improvement, root cause analysis, standards development, program management and change management methodologies & tools (8 years)
•    Exceptional facilitation skills using a variety of methodologies (8 years)
•    General business experience in large, matrixed organizations (8 years)
•    Proficient in internal business communication and coordination (8 years)
•    Systems and process analysis, design and deployment (6 years)
•    Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above. 
 
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
