Program Manager, Group Retirement Team Member

Equitable is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Member to join our Group Retirement Operational Excellence Team as a Program Manager. This role is pivotal in managing vendor relationships, overseeing contracts, and ensuring the delivery of high-priority projects. The Program Manager Team Member will support the management enterprise strategic initiatives for Group Retirement through tracking the alignment of OKRs, special initiatives, vendor management and facilitating process excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process efficiency and a deep understanding of Group Retirement technical systems and business operations. This role will also partner with leadership in different business/support areas across the organization. This position will work in-office and remote out of our Charlotte, NC; Syracuse, NY or New York City, NY location.

Key Job Responsibilities

Vendor Management:Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and objectives.Create and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure vendor performance meets organizational standards.Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve cost efficiency without compromising service quality.Project Management:Lead high-priority projects from inception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.Utilize project management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and resources effectively.Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track project progress and performance metrics.Process Improvement:Drive process efficiency initiatives to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.Facilitate the resolution of operational challenges by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders ensuring seamless implementation and communications "Voice of the Customer".Leverage technical and business knowledge in Group Retirement systems to optimize processes and solutions.Perform other duties as assigned

The base salary range for this position is $87,000 - $130,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 3 years of program/project management experience with medium scale/multi-year projects Proficiency with Enterprise level technical systems and business operations (i.e. Salesforce, PARIS, Broker Portal, EDL data base, etc.)
