Program Manager, Population Health & Health Disparities (Hybrid)

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent, with 5 years of experience in program management.

Job Description:

The Program Manager is accountable for the personnel, operational and financial management of assigned program(s) to ensure the delivery of competent, compassionate and efficient clinical care, promotion of research and clinical education.

Job Duties:

Oversees and supervises all business and administrative activities relating to program operations and budget. Provides leadership for the program and promotes teamwork. Serves as a liaison between institutional departments and local area groups to assess needs and develop project plans. Coordinates all joint operations for the program with both internal and external sources. Works with other campus departments to establish collaborative programs. Assists in identifying potential funding sources for the program and prepares/monitors budgets to ensure cost effective service provision.  Facilitates the development of goals, performance standards, and objectives of the program. Works with other international campus departments to establish collaborative programs. Responsible for identifying and evaluating the need for new equipment, supplies, communication services, and information services for all areas of the program. Responsible for outreach coordination and monitoring of all program activities. Maintains and monitors source documentation for publications and sponsor requirements. Supports and assists with research collaborators, and stakeholders on various studies and projects. Presents research findings and program outcomes, including reporting to sponsors.  Initiates implementation plans for new projects and services within the program. Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

Preferred Qualifications:

Community Health Worker   Bi-lingual (English-Spanish)   Outreach experience in the Houston-Galveston region
