Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Program Manager to lead and develop our Sales & Marketing New College Graduate (NCG) Program. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive training and development program aimed at preparing college graduates for careers in sales and marketing within the data storage industry. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, educational institutions, organizations, and industry experts to create a best-in-class learning experience that aligns with our company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Strategy: Design and launch a structured Sales & Marketing NCG Program, incorporating coursework, hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world projects with a focus on data storage technologies, market trends, and customer needs.Recruitment & Engagement: Partner with universities, career services, and student organizations to attract top talent into the program.Curriculum & Training: Develop and implement a comprehensive learning curriculum that includes sales techniques, digital marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), data analytics, and industry-specific knowledge on cloud storage, enterprise data solutions, and security.Daily Work & Learning Balance: Structure the program to ensure participants effectively manage daily responsibilities, including hands-on work assignments, ongoing coursework, virtual and in-person training sessions, and mentorship engagements. Develop a schedule that supports productivity while enhancing learning.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, HR, and executive leadership to align program goals with company needs.Mentorship & Coaching: Establish mentorship programs that pair NCG’s with experienced professionals to provide guidance and career development.Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor participant progress, measure program success, and provide insights to leadership through reports and presentations.Budget & Resource Management: Oversee program budget and resources to ensure effective execution.Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to refine and enhance program effectiveness.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
