The Center runs 120+ leadership development sessions and has over 10,000 student interactions annually. Purpose:
As the Program Manager you will design, deliver, and execute student leadership development programs, including the Michigan Ross Leader Endorsement (MRLE) and Sanger's Collaboration Lab programs. Reporting to the Director of Programming, you will oversee all aspects of projects - from design to evaluation, including budget management. You will partner with Faculty to ensure the integration of leadership development content into academic curricula, and help deliver leadership development programs.

Center Leadership (25%)

Develop Objectives & Key Results, including diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.Oversee strategic goals related to curricular integration and leadership programming.Select, manage, and develop staff to foster a positive culture.Lead one of the following focus areas: team learning, engagement, and DEI strategy initiatives.Build partnerships with faculty to support leadership development in courses.
 

Program and Project Management (50%)

Oversee strategy and execution for curricular engagements (e.g., BA courses, MAP, and courses with leadership development components).Lead project teams and manage leadership development activities, including Michigan Ross Leader Endorsement.Collaborate with Ross offices on leadership orientation programs across academic audiences.Ensure alignment of programs with center strategies and recommend innovations.Manage program budgets and collaborate with marketing on communications and design.Partner with contracted executive coaches and analyze participant feedback to improve content.Present to internal/external partners and analyze programming effectiveness.Collect and analyze data for continuous improvement.
 

Relationship Management (25%)

Serve as point of contact for current and prospective faculty involved with the Center.Build relationships with faculty, alumni, donors, corporate partners, other U-M departments, and external organizations.Coordinate with partners to ensure a seamless leadership development experience for students.Provide mentorship and support to student leaders.Required Qualifications*Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required.Full cycle program, project, or event management experience.Experience designing and delivering student learning and development programming.Experience partnering with members at multiple levels within an organization (or externally).Modes of Work

Additional Information

The posting range for this position is $63,300-$78,150. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
