Position Summary: MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Program Manager, Sr.. Minimum of six (6) years of experience providing technical direction and Project Management. Three (3) years supervisory experience in addition to the six (6) years of experience listed above.
Responsibilities:
Organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned IT tasks. Must be familiar with all phases of the systems engineering life cycle (SELC). The liaison between the government and contractors. Prepare documents that guide the performance of all development, functional and technical activities performed. Perform tasks focused on the leadership and/or task management of information systems engineering, or systems integration projects preferred. Provides technical direction for the complete system development effort. May serve as a technical authority for a design or problem area. Anticipates problems and works to mitigate the anticipated problems. As a staff specialist or consultant, identifies and resolves unique systems problems using new technology or the best technological solution. Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates. Ensures that tasks are completed within estimated cost and schedule. Interacts with Contactor/Government management personnel issuing written and/or oral reports. Ensures the development, maintenance and implementation of Program Management Plans and Technical Specifications Plan; documents that guide the performance of all functional and technical activities performed. Experience performing tasks focused on the leadership and/or task management of information systems engineering, or systems integration projects preferred.Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience providing technical direction and Project Management. Three (3) years supervisory experience in addition to the six (6) years of experience listed above.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree or an A.A./A.S. in related field
Certifications: Requires DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification IAT Level II. (Eg. CompTIA Sec+)
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or other project management certification desired
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
