JP Merch on demand team is looking for a highly talented Program Manager to work on operational expansion of Merch on demand in Japan.
Amazon started its history from selling books with snail mail and now offers various items including fresh vegetables, fruits, meat & fish in a moment to customers. In this position you can have an opportunity to contribute Amazon’s next growth in print on-demand products in Japan.
This position is required proven project management experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technical projects related to print on demand business expansion in Japan.
A successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who loves to tackle uncertain/ambiguous situations, find solutions and execute them. He/she should be also an innovative and creative person breaking out the paradigm.
Key job responsibilities
- Managing & executing multiple projects such as new warehouse launch/expansion, new technology development/implementation with operational challenges to meet timeline within budget.
- Driving global standardization of fulfillment practices, businesses processes, and reporting with operation team, retail, finance, engineering, and supply chain stakeholders
- Partnering with global teams especially Seattle Headquarters to pull best-in-class technology/strategy into Japan operation.
- Comprehensive quantitative analysis (quality, cost, risk etc.) for various decision making of multiple projects.
- Lead Sales and Operations Planning to provide highly accurate forecasts.
