Program Manager, Workplace Culture , GREF Workplace Design & Construction (WD&C)
Amazon’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team is looking for a creative, innovative, results-orientated Program Manager based in Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA to envision, build and deliver Global Workplace Culture programs that enable Amazonians to thrive throughout their workday.

GREF’s Workplace Culture programs conceive inclusive creative and cultural experiences to produce moments of delight, curiosity and new ways of thinking for Amazonians. This includes art-led programs such as Expressions and Artists in Residence, community engagement initiatives such as our iconic Banana Stands and driving spatial experiences while bringing Amazon culture and Leadership Principles to life. In the future, programs will evolve to focus on innovation, lifelong learning and wellness.

The successful candidate is a creative, experienced, and engaging professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture – providing vision, leadership, and communication – not afraid to dive deep into details. They should also understand the nuance of being approachable, while at the same time consultative – providing direction/recommendations to our regional teams and fostering transparent relationships. The candidate must be able to balance frugality with creativity in offering solutions and approach problem-solving with an emphasis on root cause.

This role requires global travel approximately 10% of the time.


Key job responsibilities
• Lead strategic development of Global Workplace Culture programs including but not limited to: (1) Assessing opportunities to globalize existing programs; (2) identifying and overseeing program deliverables; (3) aligning the program to GREF’s 3YR plan; and (4) delivering an annual roadmap and setting strategic SMART goals.
• Research and establish partnerships with internal and external SMEs in the areas of Art, Learning, Wellness and Insights and explore the integration with GREF’s next generation workplace design.
• Determine the viability of creative and culture ideas as it relates to GREF’s workplace experience strategic initiatives and goals.
• Identify, implement and report on continuous improvement initiatives for existing programs, leveraging customer insights to drive change. Prioritize deliverables that impact customers, identifying what requires creation, re-engineering or amendment.
• Work cross-functionally with global and regional peers to ensure a consistent employee experience, whilst respecting local and cultural nuance. Ensure organizational alignment in the design and execution of initiatives.
• Ensure effective and proactive stakeholder engagement and communications through timely visibility to program developments, using customer feedback and experiences.
• Develop and build globally applicable program performance metrics, Minimum Viable Experience (MVE), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and SLAs that are constantly evolving in line with expected measures of success.
• Partner with stakeholders to deploy program pilots that allow for swift and frugal program changes in response to customer needs.
• Drive consistency and quality through robust, scalable and detailed guidelines and playbooks.
• Routinely connect to external industry and professional communities, assessing new industry standards, best practices, current/future technology, and innovations are adopted into the program.
