About RBS
The RBS group in an integral part of the Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. The team's goal is to ensure Amazon remains competitive in the online retail space with the best price, low costs, wide selection, and good product information.
Within RBS, the Cost-to-Serve team strives to reduce Amazon's operational costs. The team’s primary role is to identify defects within Amazon's supply chain and operations, establish their root cause and ideate solutions to fix defects.
Our team is looking for a Program Manager to help enable Cost To serve reduction for Amazon by identifying underlying drivers of each of the cost components under Cost-to-Serve. In this role, you will have elaborate engagements with several stakeholders across Operations, business and Finance. You will work with cross-functional teams to brainstorm on costs, build a framework for identifying drivers of costs from scratch and will co-ordinate with the analytics team to enable setting up an end-to-end tracking for all costs and their drivers.

Partner with analytics team to propose analytical solutions on identifying and reducing costs.

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive Cost to Serve (CTS) cost and volume drivers identification framework
• Work with various stakeholders across Operations, business and Finance to drive the execution of cost and volume drivers framework.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure smooth implementation across functions.
• Dive deep into data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings. improvement opportunities.
• Oversee project timelines, resources, and communication with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of initiatives. Manage day-to-day activities and adjust priorities based on emerging CTS reduction opportunities.
• Lead the expansion of drivers identification across new regions (e.g., APAC, AMENT/MENA) and fulfillment models . Develop scalable solutions to address market-specific challenges while maintaining quality and aligning with strategic growth goals.
• Build ways-of-working mechanism with finance teams to track cost-saving measures, ensure accurate reporting, and align financial metrics with the team’s cost-saving objectives.
About the team
Cost to Serve (CTS) aims to identify and eliminate waste, negative experiences, and non-value activities across the end-to-end remit of supply chain and dependent workstreams that slow down resolution for our stakeholders. The primary objective is to reduce Cost To Serve for Amazon and enable “Free Cash Flow” by optimizing the Cost per shipped unit economics across the supply chain systems. Our program will support in establishing the end-to-end supply chain checkpoints on how the inventory moves inside Amazon to identify gaps, broken processes/policies to eliminate root causes of systemic difficulties rather than merely addressing symptoms, on behalf of our customers. This team will partner with internal/external stakeholders to establish the FCF/Cost to serve charter based on opportunity size and own specific unique initiatives that are beyond the existing team’s program scope.
