Minimum Requirements
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Represent all affected manufacturing facilities in cross-functional program leadership review and approval meetings for all gated program milestones, deliverables and support all manufacturing build events; Coordinate the integration of new product changes across manufacturing plants ensuring completion of manufacturing process milestones & deliverables; Support engineering product development and influence the designs to ensure DFA for each manufacturing plant’s assembly processes and capabilities utilizing Lean manufacturing process (5S’s, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen). Approve final designs; Analyze & specify changes on process, labor, tooling, equipment, facilities, test requirements, IT & BAAN requirements on new product integration; Develop program execution plan, program timeline, manufacturing capital and expense budget for new product integration into the manufacturing facilities; Coordinate with manufacturing facilities’ project leads on the program scope impact, risks, volume, and develop plans for implementation ensuring continuous improvement, modularization and cost savings. 30% domestic, 70% international travel required; must live within normal commuting distance of Elmendorf, TX; up to 20% remote work allowed.

International Motors, LLC is seeking a Program Manager – Tech in Elmendorf, TX with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of technical project/program management experience including 1 year lead experience OR Master’s degree and 6 years of technical project/program management experience including 1 year lead experience OR 10 years of technical project/program management experience including 1 year lead experience. Required Skills: Analyze automotive truck assembly product changes using APQP gated program management, manufacturing process, and lean enterprise system design; Analyze and specify process change, labor, tooling, equipment and test requirements using technical drawings, CAD, DFA, pFMEA, 5S’s and Kaizen; Analyze and provide interface requirements for BAAN MRP software manufacturing for end user applications using Value Stream Mapping, cross-functional business principles; Develop plans for continuous improvement and cost savings using Cause and Effect analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen and 5S’s principles. 30% domestic, 70% international travel required; must live within normal commuting distance of Elmendorf, TX; up to 20% remote work allowed.
