Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager for its GEM Follow-on Production Program. This individual will lead set up of the new program and integrate this program with existing production and be responsible for its start up, while working hand in hand with the Program Director and Program team to support additional production ramp up needs. This role will be based at Bacchus, in Magna Utah. This position will not qualify for remote work.

Role Description & Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will report to the GEM Program Director and have direct profit/loss responsibility for execution and set up of the Follow-on program. Position includes leadership of a matrixed and multi-disciplined team responsible to deliver on all aspects of the program, including the management of two major subcontractors on site.
Job Duties:
Execute program successfully by managing safety, quality, schedule, people, technology and cost
Represent Northrop Grumman and the GEM program as a major Subcontractor to its commercial customers.
Demonstrated ability to develop a vision and strategy for the program and translate into executable goals and metrics.
Align to the program vision and strategy for high production and integrate this program with the existing production program.
Support additional special projects and assignments as assigned by the GEM Program Director
Be exceptional at working with other teams to accomplish goals and results
Manage and negotiate partner and supplier contracts to meet program needs
Manage, approve, and present business plans for new pursuits in accordance with company commitment review process
Demonstrated ability to resolve issues in accordance with business objectives, strategy, legal requirements, contract terms, and policies
Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions for unique customer problems and transition into value-added program scope
Provide overall leadership and direction to the program team while leveraging the skill sets of each team member and lead a multi-discipline, multi-faceted team to successful performance
Manage budgets, EACs and associated risks.
Forecast and manage sales, cash and OM performance
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in applicable Engineering or Business field
Ten (10) plus years’ experience in leading multi-discipline teams with increasing levels of responsibility
Experience in delivering results to the bottom line and managing change
Experience in cost and schedule controls, including IMS management
Experience working in aerospace manufacturing, preferably solid rocket motor manufacturing
Experience as CAM and/or past profit/loss accountability
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with high-rate production programs
Familiarity with Commercial Launch Customers
A willingness to criticality think through issues and risks, to generate solutions that meet business objectives
organization and/or Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center
Knowledge of Rocket Motor manufacturing and production best practices.
Experience with strategy development and implementation in program execution
In-depth understanding of customer requirements, both technically and financially, to ensure customer needs are met.
Familiarity and experience in managing suppliers

Salary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
