Program Manager

Working within the Research Engagement Services Strategy and Operations Program Management team, you will design and implement cross-functional workstreams for our top strategic programs. You will guide the program teams to improve our business processes utilizing detailed project plans and frameworks. Your ability to be proactive, detail oriented, agile, and an excellent communicator will be essential in achieving targeted outcomes and drive innovation.

Role Description

Lead cross functional projects and programs to design new processes.Be an operationally excellent problem solver by iterating people and process aspects of the pilot scope until desired results are achieved.Be fluent in data and analytic needs and partner effectively with data analytics teams to generate needed insights for workstream objectives.Manage stakeholders and business owners effectively – ensuring alignment on objectives, key result targets, and people & process implications are agreed to.Partner effectively with the Tech Project Management team on the technology implications and opportunities for improvement for scaling workstream pilot’s best practices to the larger business.Partner effectively with change management team to prepare pilot best practices for deployment to the rest of the business – ensuring the S&G team has clear updated standard operating procedures and information to communicate and coach new ways of working effectively. Foster excellent program management and advance standard methodologies by following and continuously improving project, program and portfolio frameworks for RES Strategy and Operations based on industry best practices.Continuously grow your skill set in and exhibit operational excellent leadership in process improvement (ex: Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, TQM)Be a role model of relentless prioritization, partnership, and a no limits mindset.Design and deliver program communications and presentations to all management levels within and beyond RES.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience. 

Professional Experience

5+ years of progressive business experience with progressive responsibility in a fast-paced work environmentPreferred process and program management certifications in Project/Program Management such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking training and transformation-based experience

Quick pace, self-starter, able to learn and iterate quicklyProven ability to create, follow and improve processesIntermediate to advanced skill in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and OutlookIntermediate skill in Product Development, Project Management and Business Analysis tools: such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Jira, and ConfluenceExperience leading projects/workstreams with or without direct reporting authority utilizing best practice frameworks and toolsAbility and desire to manage multiple projects and deliverables and make sound decisions while meeting tight deadlinesSuperior verbal and written communication skillsAbility to problem solve and bring timely resolution to escalationsExcellent attention to detail and quality

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 76,000 USD - 107,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
