Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the largest and most advanced behavioral healthcare organizations in the country. Nestled near the beaches between the Pacific Coast and Santa Ynez mountains, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health California is a thriving treatment facility offering residential and adult vocational or day activity programs to individuals ages 18-85 with multiple diagnoses. These clients could be dealing with autistic spectrum disorder, emotional and/or behavioral differences, intellectual and developmental disabilities, dementia/cognitive disorders, and medical conditions. Devereux seeks our next program manager to be devoted, professional, and organized. Our beautiful Goleta campus overlooks the Pacific Ocean, and has been treating adults with co-occurring diagnoses in California since 1945.
Your responsibilities include:
Assisting in the development of all phases of the program. May develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans of individuals served.Maintaining updated treatment records of individuals.Participating in and may lead treatment planning meetings.Managing program budget.Communicating with individuals served, his/her family and/or legal guardian, funding agencies, social worker, etc.Responsible for interviewing, selection, hiring/firing, training, performance management, and overall supervision of staff. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
This position is located on-site in Goleta, California. This is an exempt position with a typical schedule of 10pm-6am but may vary depending on program needs.
Compensation is $68,640 annually
Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record. Must also be able to pass thorough background checks & Livescan. Proficiency using Word and Excel.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Psychology, Sociology, Social work, Behavioral Sciences, Education, Special Education, Healthcare or other field) required. Will consider a combination of college education and experience in a related field. The Program Manager responsible for the residential program must be certified (or become certified upon hire) as a Facility Administrator (ARF or RCFE as applicable) with the California Department of Social Services- Community Care Licensing Division.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 years of experience providing care or supervision to individuals in a related field. Prior supervisory experience is highly desirable.
