Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a Program Manager who will be responsible for running day to day program management activities for the IT department. Within the program are many projects with the various departments, which range between application development, infrastructure, software implementation and system enhancements/upgrades. These projects are divided between: Transformation projects, Velocity Projects, and run-the-business/ business case projects. Duties: * Updating project forecasted spend based on inputs from project managers and leaders * Updating project/deliverable schedules * Meeting with project teams/stakeholders to identify/mitigate risks * Preparing material for presentation to leadership * Updating reporting systems (Jira, Confluence, MS Project) to reflect last information for projects * Daily program management throughout the program life cycle * Defining the program governance (controls) * Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress * Managing the program's budget * Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements * Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies * Managing and utilizing resources across projects * Managing stakeholders' communication * Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program's -outcome- with the aid of the business change manager * Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document
