Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented individual to serve as a Program Manager to support the growing C2Core portfolio. Successful candidate will join the Mission Software Program Management Office within National Security & Operations (NSO) Sector
What You'll Be Doing:
Serving as the primary interface to the government contracting office and engineering technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.Engaging with customers to ensure the team is meeting both technical support and contract execution needs, fostering strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for organic growth on existing contracts.Establishing trust with government customers, Parsons staff, and subcontract partners to build a collaborative and reliable working environment.Acting as the Company representative with the client during program execution, tracking opportunities for follow-on work to ensure the continuation of efforts for the engineering staff.Organizing the team, coordinating staffing, and re-balancing efforts to ensure priority projects are fully staffed and effectively executing.Assigning project responsibilities based on qualifications and strengths and providing input on performance reviews and development plans for team members.Planning, supervising, and controlling all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions, including establishing program requirements and monitoring deliverables for adherence to criteria.Collaborating with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans, and organizing meetings to review status and formulate action items.Mobilizing company resources, through liaison with business operations, to support the project/program.Controlling cost and labor hour execution within ceilings and ensuring deliverables are provided within the required timeline.Monitoring and reporting to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which affect project cost or schedule.Negotiating changes to the scope of work with the client, key stakeholders, and company management.Promoting technical and commercial excellence on the project through applying Quality Assurance processes, ensuring completion, on-time delivery, and proper packaging of Contract Deliverables, including software releases to customers for all deployment types (JBoss/Windows, Docker & K8s).Managing the cyber posture of Program Deliverables and coordinating customer-defined security requirements with Certification Security & Assessment (CSA) resources.Coordinating and documenting testing for all releases, including scheduling and maintaining site details for each customer deployment environment.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree with ten (10) years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with seven (7) years of related experience.3+ years of experience managing DoD programs and government contractsEffective leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacityExcellent written and oral communication skillsPassport for periodic international travelThis position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.Active secret clearance, eligible for TS/ SCI
