The Program Manager shall be responsible for overseeing the achievement of larger organizational goals. Program Manager shall lead the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation. The Program Manager will be the principal point of contact between COR/Alternate COR and senior management, attend the required weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings, responsible for presenting regular concise program status updates, and ensuring timely resolution of critical program issues.
The Program and Project Managers must be onsite at the Washington Currency Facility - DCF location 8 hours a day between the hours of 6:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Certificate Level Training – The Program Manager shall be responsible for all education and skills-based training necessary to ensure that all staff assigned to the project are qualified to perform the work. The Program Manager shall develop or provide training classes for contractor staff that covers process procedures, duties, responsibilities, security guidelines, policies, etc. The government will review training class materials at as part of COR surveillance.
• BEP requires all contract staff to complete 40 hours of individual specialized annual technical training, in accordance with DOD 8140 baseline certifications, due within 365 days of contract award, occurring annually. The agency also requires a minimum level of certification, to include certification of the primary system(s) that the individual contract employees are responsible for. All Contractor training shall be funded by the contracting company.
• The Program Manager shall make its best efforts to retain staff members who have gained experience on this contract, and to minimize staff turnover.
• The Program Manager shall train its staff to ensure all personnel are able to perform their duties under each task order satisfactorily and meets the certification requirements required for each labor category. The government will train or pay for certification for contract personnel.
REQUIREMENTS:
The Program Manager will manage the responsibility of quality and efficiency of the contract to include both technical issues and business processes, be responsible for assisting in task assignments, ongoing supervision of technical efforts, and overall performance management of the program.Must have a general understanding and knowledge of the Microsoft computing environment.Must possess good oral and written communication skills and have at least five (5) years of experience managing personnel and processes in an IT enterprise environment.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:
A Program Management Professional (PgMP) or IT Infrastructure Library certification is mandatory for this position.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
