Summary

The Morgan Labs team is on a mission to transform how legal services are delivered by leveraging technology and automation. We build programs and experiences for Morgan & Morgan’s clients, employees, and partners. From tools that make it easier for clients to start their case, using AI to process documents intelligently, bringing transparency to our clients in an opaque industry, we do it all.

We’re looking for a Program Manager to join our Product team. This is an in-office position 4 days a week in our Brooklyn office.

Responsibilities

A Program Manager’s duties are to manage the business requests backlog, guide acceptance criteria, manage stakeholders,  and lead a team to ensure successful execution. In this role, you will be introduced to a wide variety of cross-functional departments and the ideal candidate will be comfortable juggling different team’s priorities.

You will be responsible for managing critical business-as-usual requests to keep Morgan & Morgan’s operations running smoothly. You will be working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within defined scope, quality, and time, as well as regularly communicating progress to stakeholders and users. This role requires someone who can communicate complicated solutions clearly, simplify problems into action steps, and lead teams with charisma and grace. Successful candidates will be responsible for areas including but not limited to the following:  

Interface with engineering managers and engineers to estimate work efforts, define milestones and manage resources Handle, refine, and ruthlessly prioritize the program backlog Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep requestors up-to-date Conduct sprint ceremonies, manage sprints, and track the performance and velocity of your team

Qualifications

1-2+ years of experience as a program manager, technical program manager, product owner, or similar.  Jira experience (or similar) - Comfortable with working in a Jira/Agile environment  Familiar with project management methodologies Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills  Ability to multitask in a fast-paced organization  Flexibility and adaptability to rapid change  

Nice to Have: 

Exposure to the legal industry and technology in law firms a plus  Scrum/Agile certifications a plus  Salesforce experience a plus

Salary Range$100,000—$130,000 USD
