Program Manager

Position Summary

 

The PM is responsible for managing the work scope, schedule and budget of all assigned projects.  The PM prepares and manages assigned projects in accordance with approved Company Directives, department procedures and approved Project Execution Plans.  The PM is responsible for coordinating support requirements with the HQ functional staffs.  The PM is directly responsible for executing assigned projects within the projected scope, budget and schedule. The PM conducts scheduled (usually monthly) briefings on Program/Project status/progress explaining any cost or schedule variances that of costs scheduled or projected. The PM is responsible for updating and maintaining all associated records involved with the program/project.  The PM is also responsible for the oversight of any sub-contractors assigned or employed on the Program/Project.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Responsible for providing leadership and programmatic (operational and financial) oversight to assigned contracts and/or subcontracted activities.

Responsible for developing, coordinating and executing plans for assigned projects Instrumental in the development of scope, cost and schedule Ensures compliance with corporate policies and Code of Business Ethics on all assigned projects Lead the organization in the development of cost effective and innovative customer solutions Manage proposal efforts in the role of a Capture Manager Manage business activities IAW an approved Project Plan Manage multiple overhead and project-specific schedule and budgets  Ensure projects are within specification, measured against cost, schedule and performance Prepare and conduct scheduled Program/Project status briefings Maintain positive communications with customers, subcontractors and develop customer relations strategies Develop organizational depth through subordinate leader mentoring, performance management, professional development and succession planning Responsible for supporting applicable PSC.1 requirements and the Security Operations Management System.

 

Qualifications

Must have 10 years of general experience in program support and 4 years specialized experience in IDIQ contracts Must have a strong training in program/project management background Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead in-house and multi-company teams across multiple functional areas Strong financial background with understanding of Firm Fixed Price vs T&M contracts, revenue, expense, indirect, labor and contribution margin Ideal candidate is an energetic, results-oriented performer with high growth potential Demonstrated record of excellence, leading geographically separated project teams/ units in the Government services and commercial sector Decisive; able to make critical business decisions often with incomplete information and within a compressed timeline Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance Bachelor’s degree—preferably in a business related field Ability to travel internationally; willingness to conduct site visits to austere and potentially hostile locations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

 

Preferred Qualifications

Military experience  Advanced degree PMP certification UAS Operations and or Training

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work conducted in busy and classified operating environments. Work hours may vary between 8-12 hours per day, including extended, holiday, and/or weekend hours. Must maintain necessary physical dexterity and stamina, including walking under various weather and terrain conditions, pursuit of intruders over rough and hazardous terrain, and immediate action in emergencies. Perform duties in both hot and cold atmospheres while wearing heavy duty equipment and PPE. Work may be inside or outside, requiring the ability to sit or stand at a computer and monitor alarms.

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Perform all physical duties as a contract security guard, including lifting/moving heavy objects, standing outdoors for prolonged periods, and withstanding exposure to weather conditions. Respond during elevated threats, attacks, exercises, and/or drills. Physical tasks include lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, or moving objects up to 150 pounds. Intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, walking, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and handling work-related supplies and tools.
