Program Manager
Amentum is now hiring for several Program Manager – FLAIR positions in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR. **_*** This position is contingent upon award ***_** **The candidate will perform the following duties:** + Manages a contractor staff of ~150-180 (exempt and non-exempt) of various administrative and technical disciplines at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and various other locations of support as defined by the Government. + Manages day-to-day technical operations including all aspects of systems integration, engineering design, material procurement, fabrication, systems assembly and installation, environmental testing, logistics, fielding, and follow-on support. + Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities. Interface with government personnel. + Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, ensure conformance to work standards. + Interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organizations for subordinates. + Manage logistics support analysis for military systems. + Manage systems safety studies. Identify, acquire and utilize company resources to achieve project technical objectives. + Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel. + Responsible for managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort. + Provides direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures. + Provides recommendations for resolution of technical problems to the Government staff and team. + Other duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related field. + Minimum 12 years of working experience as a project / program manager in similar contract(s). + Must have knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of military systems. + Must have a thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems. + Experience with the Army CIO/G6 programmatic requirement. + Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Program Management Institute (PMI) certification (desired). + Demonstrated ability in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Past experience working in C5ISR an CSIA. **Compensation:** HIRING SALARY RANGE: $$80,000 - $300,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
