PROGRAM MANAGER
Summary You will serve as a Program Manager in the Program Office/Program Executive Office of MARCORSYSCOM. Responsibilities You will be responsible and accountable for planning, directing, and ensuring the success of major programs, system development efforts, and research and technology initiatives. You will define, organize, and direct the program, developing both long- and short-range plans, and be responsible for formulating, guiding, and overseeing the technical approach. You will represent the command and the Marine Corps/Navy on high-level committees, with the authority to defend the command's position, influence resource allocation, and drive major program and goal changes You will lead the Program Office planning activities, providing direction to Product Managers, team leaders, and supporting staff. You will lead and manage the Program Office by identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among assigned staff based on workflow, skill levels, and specialties. You will develop and deliver persuasive oral and written presentations to all levels of government and industry leadership. You will plan and assign work for subordinates, set priorities, evaluate performance, provide guidance, and identify training and development needs for employees. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ensuring program compliance with requirements and policies while meeting customer needs, leveraging defense acquisition and DoD budgeting experience to support and defend project/program budgets across multi-complex teams.
