NetImpact Strategies has an opportunity for a Program Manager to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will work directly with federal-civilian government customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope, budget and timeframe, and coordinate with other internal departments and contractors to ensure all aspects of the program are being delivered with the highest quality. This is a fully remote job. 

 

Responsibilities

Provides overall management and oversight to a multi-disciplined team to deliver IT operations services and support.Works closely with team members and clients to understand the vision and goals of the client and to recommend and deliver cost effective, efficient, and productive solutions and work products.Proactively engages with contract leadership to successfully manage contract support resources against client needs.Serves as a trusted partner to clients by anticipating needs, developing whitepapers to outline emerging legislation and highlight impacts to operations, and providing recommendations for program improvements to reduce overall costs and increase effectiveness/efficiency of program performance.Directly responsible for project team resource management including staffing, retention, training, goal setting, performance, and availability.Develops and maintains integrated master schedule (IMS) to plan, manage, monitor, and achieve program activities and milestones, providing transparency to government leadership and ensuring alignment with client priorities and contract deliverables.Responsible for identifying risks and issues, as well as mitigation and resolution plans for impacts to program delivery and performance.Develops and delivers reports in alignment with client needs and participates in recurring and ad-hoc meetings with the team and clients to ensure high level of communications across task areas, with team members, and clients.Works collaboratively with key stakeholders and other contractors to facilitate the delivery of work products and services on time, within budget and scope.Supports program management related data calls from oversight groups within the agency, and other external federal agencies, as needed.Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation and project deliverables.Ensures scope, cost, schedule, performance, and quality metrics are met or exceeded. Qualifications

Required

BA/BS degree in Business, Technology, or related field7+ years of experience in IT project/program managementU.S. Citizenship is requiredAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearanceExperience in management and direction of large, cross-functional programmatic and technical teamsStrong ability to anticipate client needs, serve as a trusted partner, and make recommendations for improvementExcellent presentation and communication skills in both oral and written formAbility to manage dynamic deadlines and adaptability to shifting prioritiesAbility to effectively coordinate and collaborate with clientsAbility to balance client needs and level set expectations based on team capacityAttention to detail and maintaining proactive communicationExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsExperience leading multiple Agile software development scrum teamsExceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.Excellent communication, problem solving, conflict/resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills required.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Proficient using MS Office.PMI PMP, PMI ACP, AWS, SAFe, DevSecOps certifications a plus.Working understanding of Platform Administration, Atlassian, Microsoft SharePoint/Power Apps, UI/UX preferredWorking understanding of Cloud technologies such as AWS.Working understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS based systems.
