Program Manager
Cloud Lake Technology is looking for a Program Manager to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) prime contract that provides comprehensive support services for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to include planning, building, testing, deployment, stabilization of workstation changes, software distribution, patch management, service management, and program and administrative management related tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for all work performed under a government contract task order. As a single point of contact for the government customer, you will coordinate all requirements of the task order and oversee performance of the team and resources. **Clearance Required: ** Ability to obtain and maintain favorable CBP suitability **Location:** Hybrid/Telework - Must reside in National Capital Region to attend on site meetings with customer as needed in at CBP offices in Northern Virginia or Washington, D.C. This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Ashburn, VA. **Responsibilities** + Serves as primary point of contact for status and resolution of all contract management, implementation, and technical matters for the contract + Ensures quality, timely solutions and services are delivered via Agile project management methodologies. + Responsible for organizational resources and management controls to include program planning, financial reporting, quality assurance, quality control, strategic and operational planning, progress/status reporting, and program reviews to meet performance and schedule requirements throughout contract execution + Communicates and works directly with customers at a senior level to ensure we meet their high standards of project execution + Responsible for the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of schedule, technical, and performance risks associated with the contract + Prepares and maintains program management deliverables such as the Project Management Plan; weekly status reports; daily compliance reports; ad hoc reports as requested; transition plan. Reporting tasks include entering program related information in customer provided reporting tools. + Drives process improvement efforts, capture lessons learned, and make recommendations for improving the engineering and administrative processes and policies for future activities + Leads, motivate sand communicates with your delivery team to ensure exemplary program delivery and manage their utilization, timecards, expense reports, performance evaluations, and training/career development. + Supports corporate growth + Supports other corporate initiatives and projects as needed.  **Qualifications** + Must be a U.S. citizen + Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance is preferred as responsibilities in program/portfolio management grow within the company + Must possess 5+ years of hands-on project management experience and leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, demonstrating a proven track record in successfully leading and delivering complex information systems and computer network support services. This includes real-world experience in project management encompassing the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to completion, and real-world leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams. + Must currently have a bachelor's degree in business management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology. Demonstrated hands-on experience of 10+ years in project management encompassing the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to completion, and real-world leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams will be considered in lieu of a college degree. + Must have one or more of the following professional certifications: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Director (CPD), or Master Project Manager (MPM). Equivalent certifications may be considered. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior federal executives. + Have demonstrated and utilized a knowledge of the mission, charter, roles, and responsibilities of U.S. Government agencies, and how these organizations can effectively cooperate in implementing information sharing plans and programs. + Have demonstrated a superior ability in developing effective professional and interpersonal relationships with peers and colleagues across multiple functional groups and external partners. + Have demonstrated an ability to balance responsibilities among assigned activities; including the ability to manage transitions effectively from task to task, and proven adaptability to varying customer needs. + Be able to obtain and maintain a favorable CBP suitability determination. + Excellent data analysis skills. + Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and presentation skills + Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including a superior ability to work effectively at the highest levels within an interagency environment on complex issues requiring consensus-building. + Experience of working in a structured, quality environment (e.g., CMMI, ISO, ITIL) preferred + Experience supporting organic growth activity and proposal writing preferred **Job ID** 2024-14181 **Work Type** Hybrid **Company Description** **Work Where it Matters** Cloud Lake Technology, an Akima company, is not just another federal IT contractor.
