Program Manager

The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Aviation Division has a requirement for Airborne Imaging Systems and Mission Equipment to be installed on Government-owned and operated aircraft.

The Program Manager (PM) will oversee the installation of Airborne Imaging Systems and Mission Equipment on the following types of Government-owned and operated aircraft in support of DEA law enforcement missions:

Cessna 206 Aircraft Cessna 208 Aircraft Bell 407 Helicopter Bell 412 Helicopter

The aircraft for this requirement are operated and maintained in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 91 and the aircraft manufacturer’s recommendations. The PM will be responsible for certification of the complete Airborne Imaging Systems and Mission Equipment in accordance with any applicable FAA regulations and maintain the aircraft’s Standard Airworthy Certificate. Airborne Imaging Systems and Mission Equipment and or components with approved Supplemental Type Certificates are preferred but not mandatory. These installations will be performed by two Subcontractor teams in their facilities located in Oklahoma City, OK and Wichita, KS.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal. 

To provide an operationally safe, well-maintained, airworthy, effective, and efficient fleet of aircraft following original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Department of Defense (DoD), and federal regulation requirements, as applicable, to ensure assets are available while improving cost effectiveness, efficiency, and responsiveness of the associated logistics and maintenance program. Ensure the schedule established for completions are met on time and on budget. Provide timely and effective aircraft maintenance and logistics support per FAA and DEA standards to ensure operational requirements are met with airworthy, fully mission-capable aircraft. Make informed, timely decisions and actions for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Achieve program excellence by delivering on-time performance, quality deliverables, and continuous improvement through effective management. Improve the integration of cost and schedule reporting consistent with good, disciplined program management. Ensure a highly skilled staff is available with Subcontractor teammates that meet all personnel training and certification requirements. Provide Quality Oversight as an Avionics Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will require on-site visits to each location.
