About the Position: Position is for USA RIA JOINT MFG & TECHNOLOGY CENTER, BU C COMBAT ENHANCEMENTS, PROGRAM PLANS DIV. Responsibilities Determines program goals and develops work plans for the organization. Identifies actual or potential problem areas, trends, significant accomplishments, deficiencies and areas of imbalance. Discusses and recommends requirements and objectives which form the basis for policy decisions. Assists technical and managerial personnel in procurement planning and developing acquisition strategies. Advises subordinates on procurement methods, types of contracts, explores innovative contract methods, etc., for the procurement of technical services for production support. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
