Assist the Product Lead Logistics Information Systems (PL LIS to) initiate, plan, manage, control, close-out, and report on the Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS) project.

Responsibilities

· Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities. Interface with government personnel.

· Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, ensure conformance to work standards.

· Provide courses of action to PL LIS for established planning criteria to control, lead, organize, plan, maintain, and set performance standards for the tasks associated with this effort. Participate in Integrated Product Teams and develop project plans, activity schedules, Gantt charts, and project status reports as required for effective execution and performance.

· Develop and maintain a program management process documented in a formal program management plan to include configuration and risk management.

Qualifications

Required:

 

· Bachelor's degree in program or contract management AND 3 years’ experience in Program and Contract Management with an Army Management Information Systems Program and Contract Management with an Army Management Information Systems contract;

· OR; 5 years’ experience as an Assistant Program Manager (PM) or PM of a major Army Management Information System program

· Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.

· A SECRET clearance is required.
