The program manager plays a critical and collaborative role in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment on campus. In collaboration with leadership, the program manager coordinates operations and programming for the Barner McDuffie House, including but not limited to staff supervision, program and event coordination, student support and mentorship, building maintenance and repair requests. The program manager cultivates an inclusive and welcoming environment by designing culturally relevant programs and events, including academic workshops, social gatherings, career panels, health and wellness initiatives, and community service projects. In collaboration with the Director of BIPOC Student Success, the program manager develops program budgets, timelines, and evaluation metrics to measure program effectiveness. The program manager collaborates with campus partners to implement initiatives promoting belonging and inclusion for students served by the Barner McDuffie House.
