Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the STRL Mission Support direct hire authority. Responsibilities You will manage and support the team to achieve program technical, cost and schedule objectives. You will develop and coordinate all required program acquisition documentation and briefings; and ensure all program requirements and milestones are communicated and coordinated with program leadership. You will develop and promulgate detailed program budgets with internal and external stakeholders through the PPBE process. You will analyze needs and requirements information necessary for development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning. You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical, cost schedule and performance objectives. You will advise higher-level officials of program status and problems that require resolution. You will evaluate work performance of team members and provide input to Group Leaders and supervisors on performance of IPT members. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-05 pay band or the GS-12/13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing an organization. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
