PROGRAM MANAGER
Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst. SE & ALRE Group of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. Responsibilities You will provide team leadership and technical program management and guidance to engineering and other team members associated with the assigned programs. You will provide centralized management and team leadership to assure associated products and services are delivered on schedule, within budget, are fully supported before deployment and perform according to documented technical requirement. You will schedule and conducts program reviews for customers, sponsors, and higher management. You will coordinate and direct the continuous, overall effort of interrelated programs. You will resolve issues affecting achievement of technical performance that impact schedule or cost , through analyses of alternative engineering and programmatic approaches. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develops, coordinates, consolidates and monitors programs which are consistent with delivery schedules and objectives. Maintains knowledge of capabilities, problems, demands and potential of the system and provides overall program management strategies and coordination for the development, progression and future of like programs. Assesses performance requirements that provide the groundwork for the proposed action. Solicits, justifies and controls all funding for assigned programs and monitors all work and funding expenditures. Maintains monetary program history. Acts as focal point for determining and coordinating all support systems, requirements and objectives associated with assigned program(s). Prepares and updates each program support plan. Ensures supportability of related systems and subsystems. Defines general requirements, work breakdown structures and schedules required for the development, acquisition, production, test and/or integration of hardware and/or software associated with assigned program(s). Establishes and implements management systems to ensure corrective actions are taken where to reduce delays or adverse impacts. .
