PROGRAM MANAGER
Summary You will serve as a Program Manager in the Enterprise Logistics Engineering Department of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA. Responsibilities You will be responsible for program management and optimization of the NAVSUP Enterprise Data Initiatives and programs. You will provide support and guidance on the best business, technical, maintenance, and transition approaches for systems. You will coordinate and support execution of plans during lifecycle sustainment and develop programmatic change recommendations to ensure milestones are maintained and acheived. You will work with the appropriate functional process owners to develop Enterprise Data and Analytical strategies, Information Technology (IT) programs, processes, and governance directly related to Enterprise Data management. You will utilize project software tools to support management analysis and progress/status reports to provide written reports, recommendations, and briefings to Senior Navy officials. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Program Manager experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service responsible for program management and optimization of Data Initiatives and programs. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Utilize a mastery of advanced management principles and practices coupled with a comprehensive knowledge of program management, financial management, programming and budgeting regulation to accomplish sequencing and timing of key program events and milestones, and providing methods of evaluating program accomplishment; 2) Apply the mastery knowledge of Program Management and execution of program management principles and project management theories, principles, and practices combined with a thorough understanding of the analytical, evaluative, and administrative methods and techniques required for managing information systems programs; 3) Apply of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment of issues, development of solutions, and removal of impediments to the completion of a comprehensive project and systems development management; and 4) Demonstrated skill in gathering, analyzing and evaluating information, drawing conclusions and recommending appropriate action.
