Summary About the Position: The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC) serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. AC has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems which are in use by US. service members around the world. Responsibilities Serves the organization as an expert analyst and local authority on one or more major, complex management processes and systems. Conducts studies and develops policies, procedures, and processes affecting major mission activities. Applies comprehensive knowledge of the administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the administration of one or more important business/management programs. Participates and leads in formal and informal meetings, conferences, committees, and seminars with senior local managers , heads of other functional areas, and representatives of other/higher command, industry and academia. May lead a team of employees working in the area of specialty. Assigns work to team members and reviews work products. To qualify at the DE-04/GS-14 equivalent grade level: Your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DB-03 pay band or equivalent grade level (GS-12/13) level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as meeting all of the following experience: 1) Oversee or manage a variety of facility projects; 2) Facility management, such as initiating projects, planning, budgeting, reviewing project designs, coordinating projects to minimize mission impact, overseeing execution and reviewing finalized projects. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Planning and Evaluating Problem Solving Project Management Technical Competence Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
