Program Manager

ABSC is actively seeking a Program Manager to provide support to the Army Research and Technology Protection Center (ARTPC). This position will be a collateral duty in addition to the responsibilities the selected candidate is currently fulfilling under the contract. The Program Manager will play a critical role in overseeing project execution, ensuring efficient team coordination, and maintaining compliance with customer requirements.

Collateral Duties/Tasks:

Estimates at Completion: Work closely with the finance team to develop and maintain accurate project estimates, ensuring that financial forecasts align with project goals and timelines. Customer Deliverables: Oversee the delivery of high-quality outputs to customers, ensuring that all deliverables meet the agreed-upon specifications and standards. Invoicing Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of invoices in compliance with contractual requirements and financial policies. Team Management: Lead and manage project team members, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring that each team member is effectively contributing to the project. Timekeeping Management: Manage timekeeping through Deltek systems, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of team hours and project expenses. PM Assessments: Conduct monthly project management assessments to evaluate the progress, performance, and alignment with objectives, adjusting as necessary. Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify, assess, and respond to project risks and opportunities, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively to minimize impact on the project. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, building strong relationships and ensuring ongoing support and commitment to the project. Corporate Participation: Play a key role in supporting monthly and quarterly business reviews (remote and in person at ABSC HQ in McLean, VA), providing insights and updates on project status, achievements, and challenges. Participate in and contribute to ad hoc corporate meetings (remote and in person at ABSC HQ in McLean, VA), ensuring that project perspectives are represented and integrated into broader company strategies.

Required Education and Certifications:

Ability and willingess to obtain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within 6 months.

Required Skills/Experience:

Possess at a minimum of TS/SCI security clearance with the Federal Government. Proven leadership experience.
