MoCo ReConnect is a program that provides comprehensive support for 16-24-year-olds who have experienced trauma and are disconnected from education or employment, often facing housing instability. The program offers a safe and inclusive space where participants can access essential services, including mental health support, GED preparation, temporary lodging, nutritious meals, laundry facilities, showers, and opportunities to relax. MoCo ReConnect also fosters a supportive community environment, particularly for LGBTQIA+ individuals, in collaboration with Montgomery County Collaboration Council (MCCC) and other partners.
What to expect.
This opportunity is a split position, combining responsibilities as both a program manager and a therapist. You will be responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the MoCo ReConnect Program and its staff while also providing direct clinical services to a caseload of 8-12 clients. This role operates on a Monday-Friday schedule, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Program Manager Responsibilities: Provide administrative oversight of all program operations, ensuring alignment with the program's mission and quality standards. Implement quality assurance mechanisms, conduct program evaluations, and report data to Sheppard Pratt and contracting agencies. Oversee the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of program staff, ensuring compliance policies and procedures. Assist the Division Director in developing and implementing program-specific policies. Supervise therapists and interns at both the schools and the MoCo Reconnect Center, ensuring they meet their caseload and group therapy requirements. Provide consultation to school and center staff to support the mental health goals of the programs. Therapist Responsibilities: Provide clinical assessment and treatment services to assigned clients, including individual, family, and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. Maintain proficiency in multiple evidence-based therapeutic modalities that address each client's unique needs. Complete and maintain all required clinical documentation in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to Sheppard Pratt’s documentation policies and procedures.What you'll get from us.
