We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Program Manager to oversee and coordinate key initiatives for the education market expansion in India. This role will involve managing and aligning internal and external stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales, Operations at ESP / ISV partners and Govt institutes - schools, colleges etc. The successful candidate will drive strategic program delivery, ensuring smooth collaboration across teams, and maximizing the success of educational initiatives in the India market, which is experiencing rapid growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Planning and Execution:
Define and drive the end-to-end program lifecycle, focusing on the education market expansion in India.
Develop comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables, tailored to the local education landscape.
Identify and address potential risks and challenges, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.
Monitor program progress and report on status to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
2. Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Operations, ensuring alignment on educational market goals in India.
Engage with key external stakeholders, such as Govts, education service partners / ISVs to ensure strong collaboration and program success.
Facilitate regular communication and meetings with internal and external stakeholders to keep all parties aligned.
Build and nurture relationships with partners in the education sector, ensuring positive outcomes and growth.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth execution of programs and initiatives in the education sector.
Facilitate collaboration between teams across different functions, ensuring alignment of goals and priorities.
Support teams in the execution of education-focused campaigns, projects, and initiatives tailored for the India market.
4. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Track key performance metrics related to the education market expansion in India.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership, reporting on key milestones, risks, and program achievements.
Prepare post-program analysis to evaluate program success and identify areas for improvement, with a focus on education-specific outcomes.
5. Market Insights and Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about the education market trends in India, including government initiatives, policy changes, and regional challenges.
Identify opportunities to enhance the program and adapt to the evolving educational landscape in India.
Implement best practices in program management, ensuring consistent execution and innovation across projects.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Master's in Education) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, with a focus on the education sector or market expansion, preferably in India.
Skills:
Strong project management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams in education-focused initiatives.
Deep understanding of the education market in India, including trends, challenges, and key players.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
Experience working with OEMs, ISVs, Retail partners, or other key players in the education ecosystem.
Familiarity with program management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
Proven track record of successfully delivering programs within the education sector or emerging markets.
Desirable:
Certification in Program Management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
Previous experience in the India education market or in partnerships involving education stakeholders.
Knowledge of key technologies and solutions relevant to education in India.
