As the landscape of AI rapidly evolves, and with the rise of Generative AI models and data services, AWS is seeking a Program Manager within the Data and AI Specialist team to drive innovation and program excellence across the Data and AI portfolio. This team’s mission is to empower AWS customers with the expertise and tools to build strong data foundations that maximize the potential of Generative AI, driving innovation and growth. We do this by working across Sales, Marketing, Specialist, and Product teams to drive high-impact enablement, programs, and product features that delight customers and support more differentiated experiences and outcomes for Data and AI. The team is part of a larger organization in AWS that is comprised of business development, solutions architecture, and program management professionals who execute the broader Data and AI Go-to-Market strategy for all of AWS.
This Program Manager role will be responsible for implementing mechanisms, programs, and measurements that guide a fast-moving, high-performance Go-to-Market team supporting a global sales teams and customers. Expectations for this role include proposing and managing worldwide initiatives in sales and technical enablement, event/executive engagements, and sales-content management. We expect the person in this role to work with AWS employees from many departments and geographies/time zones, requiring them to communicate clearly and effectively through Amazon business narratives/writing, weekly updates, and leveraging data available through Amazon QuickSight and Excel to report the status of projects and unlock business insights for leaders. The role will interface with AWS Sales, Technical, Finance, Enablement, Sales Operations, and Go-to-Market leaders, giving this role exciting visibility and scope to Think Big and Invent & Simplify, having both internal and external impacts. Given Generative AI is a new and evolving domain, and Data and AI is a broadly defined area, this role will regularly be required to deal with ambiguity, driving stakeholder alignment and feedback, and adapting to process/priority changes.
Key job responsibilities
• Work across Data and AI Specialists team to drive initiatives that optimize sales, customer, and business performance outcomes.
• Develop and implement programs to enhance go-to-market strategies for Data and AI products and services.
• Create and manage measurement systems to track the success of implemented programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Drive people, process, and technology initiatives to improve overall team performance.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in go-to-market approach.
