We are seeking a Senior Professional Scrum Master with extensive experience in program management, advanced Jira analytics, and reporting to lead multiple workstreams across the organization. This role requires a highly skilled communicator who is adept at tackling complex problems, is execution-focused, organized, and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, able to drive alignment across cross-functional teams, facilitate smooth collaboration, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Scrum Master Leadership & Facilitation:
+ Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies across multiple teams.
+ Remove impediments and proactively address any blockers that may hinder team productivity or program delivery.
+ Champion Agile methodologies, continuously driving improvements in team efficiency, collaboration, and delivery.
+ Monitor team progress and provide coaching to Scrum teams on Agile practices, ensuring they follow Scrum principles while adapting to the needs of the business.
+ Execution & Organization:
+ Drive execution with a focus on delivering results, maintaining momentum, and keeping teams on track to meet deadlines and program objectives.
+ Ensure that all program activities are documented and tracked in a structured, transparent manner for auditability and future reference.
+ Maintain a high level of organization, keeping all stakeholders informed of changes, risks, and milestones in a timely manner.
+ Lead by example, demonstrating a proactive, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple workstreams and complex deliverables.
+ Program Management & Leadership:
+ Lead multiple cross-functional teams (Scrum teams, stakeholders, leadership) through the successful execution of complex, high-priority programs.
+ Own program-level planning, coordination, and communication across multiple workstreams.
+ Provide mentorship and guidance to Scrum Masters and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Ability to manage and run Scrum of Scrums across project workstreams, scrum masters, and facilitate program level health metrics.
+ Facilitate regular program reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for process improvement and to ensure teams are aligned with business objectives.
+ Manage program timelines, deliverables, risks, and interdependencies to ensure successful delivery of program goals.
+ Advanced Jira Analytics & Reporting:
+ Design and implement advanced Jira reports and dashboards to aggregate and display program health, project milestones, team performance, and other key metrics.
+ Use Jira's powerful querying and automation features to provide timely insights, allowing stakeholders to make informed decisions.
+ Create tailored Jira dashboards and reports for various stakeholders, from team members to executives, that clearly communicate progress, blockers, and achievements.
+ Continuously optimize and refine Jira workflows, configurations, and reporting practices to ensure maximum value.
+ Guide others in the usage and onboarding of Jira analytics and reporting.
+ Stakeholder & Communication Management:
+ Build strong, collaborative relationships with business and technical leaders to ensure alignment on program goals and priorities.
+ Communicate effectively across various levels of the organization, tailoring messages for different audiences, from technical teams to senior executives.
+ Act as a trusted advisor for senior leadership on program performance, risks, and emerging opportunities.
+ Lead presentations and reporting to provide transparency and visibility into program status, metrics, and progress.
Qualifications:
+ Experience:
+ 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
+ Proven experience in program management, including coordinating large, complex projects with multiple teams and stakeholders.
+ Strong expertise in using Jira (Cloud or Server) for Agile project management, with advanced skills in reporting, dashboarding, and metrics aggregation.
+ Familiarity with Jira Query Language (JQL) and experience in writing custom reports and automating workflows.
+ Skills:
+ Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum, with the ability to tailor processes to meet business needs.
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
+ Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
+ Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
+ Experience in conflict resolution and the ability to manage and resolve issues effectively.
+ Ability to lead by influence, drive change, and inspire teams to perform at their best.
+ Certifications (preferred but not required):
+ Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification.
+ Jira/Atlassian certifications (e.g., Jira Software Administrator or Jira Project Administrator).
Salary range $140,000 - 155,000. Bonus Eligible.
