This role will work primarily to manage Technology projects in Eaton's Eaton Research Lab (ERL). As a project leader - program management for Eaton Research Lab (ERL), you will be responsible to lead innovation programs, drive entrepreneurial mindset, build value propositions and business cases, acquire resources, and lead customer relationships. You will also be directly involved in developing and deploying standard process/tools across the organization. "

• Remotely collaborate with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural globally distributed teams and ensure timely delivery on project.
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders to negotiate the project scope, timelines, and milestones.
• Support project teams in defining unique value proposition and Business model for advance technologies.
• Build external partnerships with industry and academia for collaborations on advanced technology programs.
• Lead all aspects of project management activities of complex new technology development projects/programs, incl. timelines, resource allocation, and risk managements.
• Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities ensuring programs are within their scope, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
• Development of program management plan, estimates, creation of baseline cost and budgets using Agile and water-fall methods. Identify and document program constraints and assumptions. Analyzes program data and looks for trends.
• Develop and deploy process to improve operational efficacy using Lean and Six Sigma Principles and tools.
• Develop dashboards to keep track of the leading indicators for the development to ensure visualization of bottlenecks
• Work with stakeholders to democratize and implement AgileStart™ Framework for Innovation. "
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) license through Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in preparing and deploying New Technology / New Product introduction projects with cross functional, multi-located, global teams virtually.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in developing and deploying standard work instructions/ templates/ processes/ tools.
• Experience in digital project management practices/tools e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Project Planner, MS Project, Clarity PPM, JIRA, etc.
• Familiarity with AgileStart™ Framework for Technology development.
• Familiarity on different lifecycle management process - Agile, Scrum/ waterfall methodologies for new technology/product introductions, Mechanical, software/hardware development lifecycle, Multi-disciplinary project lifecycle management.
• Familiarity on project lifecycle models – waterfall, Iterative, Incremental, Iterative/Incremental
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to quickly learn.
