The Program Manager II (PM II) is responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of program operations including the delivery of quality direct service to client and families in our community based programs. This PM II position oversees our collaborative programs with Monroe #1 BOCES. We have 4 skilled Clinical teams that work within the BOCES center based Special Education programs. The teams work with youth aged 10-22 with a wide range of mental health and IDD needs. The PM II develops and maintains systems to facilitate the integration of services; the PM II coaches and mentors teams in order to implement and maintain these systems. The PM II is responsible for the efficiency of the day-to-day operations of the program including budget development and management, utilization, hiring training, clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, and safety of youth families and staff. The PMII supports Hillside’s Philosophy of Care and works to remove systemic barriers to ensure its implementation.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure delivery of comprehensive family driven services within communities. Develop and implement systems of accountability for both teams and individuals. Community Based develops and maintains positive funder and regulatory relationships via effective communications and a pro-active approach in working with funder staff. Handle and follows-up on internal and external emergency situations Active participant in agency, team, and community meetings as needed. Develop, maintain, and update all required documentation in a timely manner. Communicate supports and links Hillside’s mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies to everyday work and establishes clear, meaningful, challenging, and attainable objectives and expectations that are aligned with those of the organization. Is responsible for the administration of Human Resource related functions for assigned staff according to HFA policy and guidelines to include hiring, termination, performance evaluation and management, employee development, employee discipline/corrective action and employee compensation. Align the right work with the right people; delegates tasks according to people’s strengths and interests. Ensure staff has the skills and resources to be successful. Provide staff with coaching, training and opportunities for growth to improve their skills. Treat staff fairly and consistently. Shares accountability when delegating and involves staff in setting their performance goals.Requirements:
Bachelors degree in social work or other human service discipline 7+ years of experience in a related field Valid unrestricted NYS driver’s license and meet agency driving standards.
