**Job Description**
BAE Systems Projects, Programs, and Portfolio Office (P3O) is hiring a Program Manager to support Combat Mission Systems (CMS). In this role, the PM will be responsible for continuous improvement of all Project Management processes within the Business Management Systems Documentation, and will support implementation of Digital Enterprise strategy. This will include refinement and development of tools, templates, processes, and procedures used for project proposals, execution, communication, and education for the PM community. Utilize understanding of Program Management processes and how they interface with all functions across the business. The PM will provide attention to detail in their work while maintaining a focus on driving project efficiency and value.
+ This can be a hybrid role where you will work onsite three days each week and work remote two days each week, based on business needs.
+ The ideal locations for this role are York, PA and Sterling Heights, MI.
+ There may be flexibility to be base out of other CMS locations.
+ This role may require less than 10% travel annually.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead maintenance of the Business Management Systems Documentation for all Project Management activities
+ Lead process development, change, and improvements for Project Management to support Department of Defense and internally funded programs
+ Lead development and enhancement of tools, templates, processes, and procedures used for project proposals and execution; focus on improving process efficiency
+ Support the CMS BMS digitization by mapping and refining cross-functional processes
+ Lead cross-functional teams through working groups for document updates and reviews
+ Support project capture, planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling processes
+ Prepare project execution plans and identify technical and business resource needs
+ Initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
+ Report project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports
+ Represent technical and programmatic status to internal and external leadership
+ Lead training sessions to enhance community understanding of the changes
+ Primary POC within P3O for process questions from the PM community
+ Drive compliance by improving process awareness, supporting process audits, and leading corrective action plans
+ Plan and execute Life Cycle Management (Gate Review) Process
+ Support special projects as necessary
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of work experience or equivalent experience
+ Experience in Process Development/Change
+ Experience in Program/Project Management of complex programs or portfolios
+ Experience in Team Leadership
+ Knowledge in process development for Project Management for Department of Defense funded contracts
+ Knowledge in the development of process maps
+ Ability to lead teams of diverse functions that do not directly report to the individual
+ Ability to initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Ability to develop instruction sets for professionals
+ Ability to support digital transformation and change
+ Ability to operate independently and proactively
+ Strong technical writing skills
+ Strong planning and organizational skills
+ Strong cross-functional team leadership skills
+ Strong verbal and written skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Master's Degree in Project Management, Business Management, or other management related filed
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
+ Experience in Lifecycle Management (LCM) including, capture planning, proposal, execution, monitor, control, and close
+ Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
+ Experience in Digital Transformation and Change
+ Ability to prepare project execution plans and identify technical and business resource needs
+ Ability to manage schedules, budget, and status reports
+ Ability to represent technical and programmatic status to internal and external leadership
+ Familiarity with compliance requirements and audits, including ISO, CMMI, and AS9100
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $133333 - $226667
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
