Tasks/Responsibilities:
Manage Operational relationships with support teams and internal operations business partners to drive increase in Amazon fulfillment centers. - Identify opportunities to improve costs and efficiencies with Amazon facilities
Identify opportunities to improve costs and efficiencies with Amazon Robotics
Provide input and execute standard operational procedures
Demonstrated ability to indirectly influence internal service providers to successful outcomes
Committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge
Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others and execute positive change
Demonstrated ability to dive deep using Root Cause Analysis to eliminate maintenance problems.
Identify savings opportunities, better partnerships to leverage industry best practices, creating greater efficiencies through partnerships and technology innovations, etc.
Manage Engineering and Operations relationships and establish yourself as a primary business contact for Amazon MHE improvements. - Develop risk mitigation strategies for each Center with respect to MHE

Field Base Travel - up to 50% of the time travel

Key job responsibilities
Support the network by helping to identify and implement process changes, engineering, and/or training that comes from lessons learned through the guided root cause analysis process.
Detailed project management with innovation and engineering solutions for multiple reliability and maintenance engineering teams across North America.
A day in the life
Role will use analytic tools to find trends and develop improvements to reduce downtime within the buildings. Role will help write papers, initiate change management process, and partner with field and support teams to drive potential network fixes. Role will initiate network level support for sites that have high impact events that meet a certain threshold and help deep dive root cause.
About the team
Team helps reduce RME controlled high impact events. Team helps eliminate repeat technical issues impacting overall building OEE. Team also helps develop current and future technical leaders in the field.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of employee and performance management experience
- 5+ years of distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field experience
- 7+ years of facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards
- Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls , industrial electronics
