Program Manager III, Operations Cost, Platforms and Devices
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience in program or project management. + Experience in one of the following areas: supply chain operations, financial planning and analysis, management consulting, or similar environment. Preferred qualifications: + 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. + Experience in Should-Cost modeling and analysis. + Knowledge and experience working with supply chains, contract manufacturers, and consumer hardware. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The Cost Management group within the Global Operations organization is responsible for the manufacturing operations and materials supply chain across all hardware products. You will shape how the team influences product teams to launch products, drive efficiencies across a global operations team, develop scalable processes, onboard new capabilities, and resolve issues gating productivity and business growth. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Serve as an Operations Cost Manager leads for all non-BOM related costs for assigned products. + Drive analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction opportunities and investment prioritization and efficiency improvements + Partner with Finance teams including Supply Chain Finance, Accounting and Financial Operations to ensure Google’s accounting, compliance, and other financial requirements are supported. + Oversee the development and tracking of accurate driver level cost models from concept to design stages and through entire product lifecycle. + Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify consultation, design, feature, and operational cost opportunities and track through to action.
