**Job Description**
BAE s Secure Communications Program Area has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager III to lead an important program in the development, qualification, production and delivery of world-class Secure Communications capabilities.
Reporting to the Secure Communications Program Area Director, this role will require prior development experience, strong cross functional leadership and customer management to operate in this dynamic environment balancing program execution as well as supporting new business initiatives.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the classified nature of this program, the work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems Hudson NH facility 100% of the time.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:
+ Responsible and accountable to the Program Area and Product Line Management for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Makes timely decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash.
+ Provide leadership and management oversight for an important development program in the Secure Communications program area assuring the team s Program Area, Product Line and Business Area objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
+ Accountable for all aspects of assigned program s execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, inventory management, and customer engagement) throughout all the Life Cycle Management (LCM) phases, ensuring program commitments are met while having the authority to make cogent and timely decisions related to the project.
+ Participates in the creation and development of new business strategies and financial plans including month end closings, Estimates to Complete (ETC s), quarterly forecasts, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
+ Acts as the primary point of contact between BAE Systems and the customer program office, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders.
+ Exhibits sound judgment, fact-based decision making and effective negotiations up and down the chain of command with both internal leadership and external customers and suppliers.
+ Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills while interfacing with program team members, company personnel, suppliers, and customers.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
+ Minimum of 7-10 years of demonstrated experience leading and inspiring teams in a high tempo environment.
+ Successful, proven past performance in leading and managing multi-discipline project teams.
+ Expertise in project management.
+ Adaptable with a high degree of initiative.
+ Experience in new business capture.
+ Experience in the development and production of high reliability, complex optical mechanical assemblies, and electronics.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Program Management Institute (PMI) certification, Program Management Professional (PMP).
+ Master s degree in Engineering, and/or Business Administration.
+ Experience in business case development, analysis, and presentation.
+ Detailed knowledge of the defense aerospace market.
+ Top Secret SCI/SAP Cleared.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
